We have completed renovating our asset in Kansas City that we dubbed “Nelle’s Corner” after Nelle Peters, KC’s first female architect. Built in 1912, our building is one of Nelle’s many masterpieces, widely considered as one of Kansas City’s most prolific architects. Nelle’s Corner is in KC’s Hyde Park district, just blocks from the Country Club Plaza and 5 minutes from Downtown. This was a passion project for us – to celebrate a wonderful piece of KC architectural history by honoring its exterior facade and upgrading the interior units with modern finishes – ultimately delivering much-needed high-quality housing to the Hyde Park neighborhood.
